If you are looking for a sedan that isn’t going to break the bank or be too large for your taste, then feast your eyes on the new 2019 Mitsubishi Mirage G4. The G4 allows for you to get the same great space and convenience benefits of a 4 door sedan, in the smaller, coupe size frame. Today, we are going to take a closer look at the 2019 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE trim level and see exactly what makes it so great.
One of the drawback on choosing a sedan over a coupe is the lower fuel economy found on sedan models. However, with the Mirage G4’s smaller frame and aluminum engine, you get better gas mileage from its 1.2L MIVEC DOHC 3 cylinder engine. This engine is very efficient and though it only produces 78 horsepower and 74 torque, it is more than enough to get you where you need to go while providing you with great fuel economy. With the standard INVECS-III CVT automatic transmission, you can enjoy 35 miles per gallon with city driving and 41 miles per gallon on the highway. This allows for an average of 37 miles per gallon with a mixed amount of driving in both the city and highway. With the smaller 9.2 gallon fuel tank, you can expect a fuel range of about 325 miles per tank.
Moving onto the interior, you will notice that Mitsubishi paid close attention to detail to ensure that you had a comfortable and unforgettable driving experience. You will first notice the powered and heated front seats that allow for a pleasurable drive. To add to the interior upgrades, you get a leather wrapped steering wheel and shift knob that make the SE really stand out from the base model ES. Gloss black and chrome accents really help to tie the interior together for a sportier yet classy look. To keep you and your passengers entertained, you can take advantage of the 6.5″ touchscreen audio system with four speakers, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto capabilities, and bluetooth technology. The leather wrapped steering wheel features audio, phone, and voice controls to make sure you keep both hands and eyes on the road ahead. Many other features are included that make the SE a solid choice for those wanting an upgrade interior on their Mirage G4.
Taking a look at the exterior of the Mirage G4 SE, you will notice that the halogen headlights, rear tail lights, and high mount rear stop light all were carried over from the ES model. Where the SE really shines is with the added fog lights that not only add a sportier look, but add better nighttime visibility for driving at night. Color matched side view mirrors were a nice upgrade from the ES model and really helped tie together the exterior looks with the color matched bumpers and door handles. Finishing off the exterior are 15” dark chrome alloy wheels and a short pole antenna that adds a sportier look.
